Oroboooooooo

I saw the above on Stella's blog, and it instantly reminded me of my sister in law. Obesity is now an epidemic especially in the United States, and it's also a cause for alarm in Nigeria.

I have seen a lot of obese children and I have shaken my head in disbelief a couple of times. I wonder how some parents think. In this day and age, it's a shame some parents need to be educated abi re educated - as applicable.

My sister in law sent me a photo of her approximately twelve week old baby and I was shocked. If I didn't know when he was born I would have thought he was about two. He was so fat that I'm sure he was struggling to breathe at the time the photo was taken and im sure he's still out of breath.

It looked like he had no neck in the photo, his cheeks were very puffy and he had a blank stare. Poor child!

Do mothers who send photos of babies like that expect us to awwwww. I'm sorry nne, that's child abuse. Have you ever thought about heart failure, diabetes, etc..

Parents, please do something! Save a child!!!!
